Long County Foster Children’s Christmas Gifts
The annual Long County Foster Children’s Christmas party will be on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at DFCS in Long County. In the past, First United Methodist Church has sponsored the party and showered the children with gifts. Currently there are 27 children in foster care in Long County. We are asking for your assistance again this year. For further information please contact Sally Rollins at 545-2177 (9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) or 368-4141 (6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.) If necessary, you may leave a voice message and Sally will get back with you. There is a $15.00 limit for all gifts and they need to be turned in to the church office by Wednesday, December 13. Thanks for your help.

Beginning the week of November 27, the Listening groups will reform into CELL GROUPS meeting weekly in homes to discuss portions of Scripture relating to Advent. These discussions will follow the material in this issue of the devotional guide, THE UPPER ROOM. Watch for more information.
